Homeschoolers are invited to the library for hands-on STEAM experiments and Art Literacy.  Each week we’ll either do a hands-on STEAM project, or study and create art using literature to guide us.

Which is better, the book or the movie?  Join us as we read a book and at the end of three weeks, we will watch the movie and discuss which one was better.  Books available at the front desk.

Children face a new design challenge each week!  Teams work together to brainstorm, build, and test a solution to the weekly challenge using only the supplies provided. Will your design win the day?

Bring your Preschooler to our Rhythm Band.  We'll study rhythm by using our hands, feet, voices and hand-held rhythm instruments!

Local author Christina Smith will discuss her juvenile book "When The Cat Lays an Egg." Join us to meet her, learn about her writing inspirations and methods, and enjoy light snacks while she shares excerpts from the book.
