Week Calendar

Let's take an adventure this Summer to the countries that house the Seven Wonders of the World. Each week we will visit a different Wonder and also learn about the country we are visiting.

Crafting, exploring nature, and learning about the wonderful world we live in are just some of the activities to enjoy with our Youth Services Team.  Registration is recommended for this fun and engaging Summer activity.

Kids in grades K-5 explore different science concepts each week. From exploding volcanoes to tasty experimental treats, kids will enjoy hands-on STEM experiments and activities.

Join us for songs, stories, and fun at the library!  Help your child develop strong early literacy skills by attending Storytime at your ACDL Branch.

We are hunting for Pokémon at the library! Earn badges and make Pokémon-themed crafts! For grades K through 5.

Bring your Preschooler to our Rhythm Band.  We'll study rhythm by using our hands, feet, voices and hand-held rhythm instruments!

Teens & tweens express their creativity through a weekly art or craft project. New project featured each week!

Teens are invited to go on an adventure by attending this weekly book club. Book discussion and interpretation are what you can expect during this time together.

Curious about your dreams and the ability to understand them or navigate them? We will learn about how to remember our dreams, journal about them, and quite possibly navigate them.

Do you enjoy reading and discussing what you've read with others?  Book clubs are a wonderful opportunity to meet new people who love to do that as well.

A Vietnam veteran returns from the war a changed man.  He moves his family to Alaska where they will live off the grid.  Winter arrives and things go awry. 

The Ashtabula County Beekeepers Association will be with us to discuss the vital importance of bees in our ecology and the pollination and attraction of bees to your gardens.

Children are invited to get creative with a variety of fun crafts throughout the Summer.
