Youth Services Manager

Starting at $21.20/hr.
40 hours, including some evenings and weekends

Ashtabula County District Library (ACDL) is searching for an energetic, enthusiastic person to lead its Youth Services Department. This person will oversee the programming, collection development, and community presence of ACDL’s Youth Services department. The ideal candidate will have experience planning relevant programming and services for youth from ages 0 – 19 and be familiar with juvenile and YA literature, gaming systems, and youth-centric culture.  Must be curious, industrious, possess a passion for making a difference, and have a great sense of humor!

ACDL has recently celebrated the complete renovation of our two library buildings, passed a 10-year levy replacement in November 2022, and has a new bookmobile “on order!”  Located within close proximity to Cleveland, Erie, Akron, and Youngstown, Ashtabula County offers 18 different covered bridges, a plethora of wineries, and a nearly county-long hiking/biking trail.
